A copper thief who broke into the same business on three different occasions has finally been caught and taken into custody say police.
The man is facing several charges after the completion of a break-and-enter investigation in Whitby.
On three separate occasions between Friday, April 10, to Monday, April 13, this year, the suspect broke into a business in the area of Ashburn Road and Kent Mills Road and stole copper wiring, piping, and parts valued at over $17,000.
Investigators were able to identify the suspect and on Tuesday, April 14, and members of the Central West Criminal Investigations Branch located the suspect in the Whitby area. He was taken into custody without incident.
