Here’s affected Durham GO train schedule for this weekend

Repair work continues on the Lakeshore East GO line following a fatal incident involving a worker last weekend, according to an update from Metrolinx, the operator of GO Transit.

“Lakeshore East GO train customers will be affected this weekend as crews continue to make repairs near Pickering GO following a workplace fatality,” it said.

Due to the incident that happened near Pickering GO last Saturday (November 27) and the subsequent investigation, the Lakeshore East GO Line continues to operate on a modified schedule.

Lakeshore East trains will run on one modified schedule until today (Friday, December 3), and then on a weekend modified schedule for Saturday and Sunday (December 4-5).

With many events happening in and around Toronto this weekend, including a Toronto Argos playoff game and the Distillery Winter Village, Metrolinx knows thousands of customers are depending on transit to get there and back safely.
