#ERASE: Help combat aggressive driving everywhere

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday announced its participation in #Erase, which is a Greater Toronto Area (GTA) initiative.

Under the project, residents can expect to see a more visible police presence on the roads in Durham, as well as ride checks in various parts of the region.

“Today we join our GTA police traffic partners as we kick off Project #ERASE,” said a DRPS tweet.

“We are asking for community support to help us combat aggressive driving everywhere,” it said.

Durham Police will be using Air1 and other tools to combat racing and aggressive driving on the region’s roadways, the tweet added.
