Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday announced the seizure of a stash of cocaine valued at some $30,000.
It said PC Wes King and K9 Klutch from the DRPS K-9 Unit tracked a suspect who had fled from a traffic stop.
While searching, Klutch located $30,000 worth of cocaine which the suspect had attempted to conceal while fleeing.
“Though the perp escaped, Klutch did locate the perp’s prized possession, the drugs!” said a tweet from the K-9 Unit.
