‘No fixed address’ car thieves charged, let go on…

Durham Police said two suspects have been arrested after they were found in possession of a stolen vehicle in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, November 29 at about 12:30 am, members of Central East Division observed a Land Rover in the area of Ritson Road South and Bond Street East, sitting idle at a green light.

Following further investigation, officers learned the vehicle was reported as stolen. Officers successfully conducted a stop of the vehicle. A female, who had been operating the vehicle, and a male were taken into custody, said a police statement.

Both of no fixed address were charged and released on an undertaking. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
