Durham police have identified the victim in the region’s fourth homicide of 2025 as 28-year-old Isaiah Little of Ajax.
According to police, officers from West Division responded to an assist ambulance call at about 11:30 pm on Sunday, June 22, at the Ajax GO lot located at 100 Westney Road South. When officers arrived, they found an unconscious man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre, where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators are continuing to search for a suspect and are asking anyone with video footage—including dashcam or surveillance—from between 9 pm and 10 pm to come forward, as police believe the shooting occurred during that time.
