Police trying to find owners of planters stolen from homes

A 47-year-old woman has been arrested after a series of planter thefts from front yards in Ajax, according to Durham Regional Police.

Between 4 am and 6 am on Saturday, July 12, the suspect allegedly visited several homes in the neighbourhoods near Westney Road and Delaney Drive, stealing multiple potted plants from residential properties.

Durham police say the woman was arrested without incident on Thursday, July 24. Several stolen planters were recovered, and police are working to return the items to their rightful owners.

A 47-year-old woman, of Ajax, was charged and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
