Should this driver be charged for driving too slowly?

DRPS Traffic Services is almost 100 per cent of the time busy taking care of speeding motorists, stunt drivers and drag racers when it comes to minding the road speed limits.

But this one happenstance, they came along a driver was was just too slow – which put them in a quandary – should the driver be fined or let go?

“Did you know…there is a charge for unnecessary slow driving? It’s not something we usually have an issue with here in Durham,” said a police alert.

“If your vehicle is more than 120 years old though, not only is it necessary to drive slow, you have no other choice,” it added as an indication whether the driver was fined or was not.

It appears the driver or the passenger was pleased with the outcome as they seem to be taking a selfie with the police motorcycle in the background.

There was no mention of where the incident took place.
