Three held for Clarington shooting that left three injured

Durham police investigators have arrested three suspects in relation to a shooting that occurred in Bowmanville last year.

On Sunday, June 2, 2024 at about 12 am, members of East Division responded to a shooting in the area of Concession Street East and Mearns Avenue in Bowmanville.  Officers arrived on scene and located a 25-year-old male, a 25-year-old female and a 22-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. All injuries were non-life threatening.

Investigators have arrested three suspects, police said.

First suspect, age 23, of Clarington, a second suspect , age 22, of Oshawa and a third suspect, age 23, of Clarington were charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
