A body found in crashed car after 21-year old goes missing

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said the vehicle of a missing 21-year-old male from Uxbridge has been located.

It said the vehicle was involved in a collision, and a deceased person was found in the vehicle.

“The missing male’s family has been notified and the body has been sent for a post mortem examination to confirm identity,” said police.

Separately, police said Uxbridge Concession Road 3, between Uxbridge Pickering Townline Road and Webb Road, was closed for the entirety of the day due to a collision investigation.

It advised road users to find an alternative route.

On Saturday, police said a missing 16-year old female from Uxbridge has been located safe.
