Annual Halloween Haunt at Kids’ Safety Village

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), in partnership with local community groups and businesses, is hosting the annual Halloween Haunt at the Kids’ Safety Village in Whitby this coming weekend.

Each year, this fun event attracts families from across Durham Region to explore the village, which is decorated for Halloween. Kids are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes and bring their own bags to collect candy, said the DRPS.

The Halloween Haunt provides a safe environment for kids to celebrate Halloween and get in the spirit of the season. Admission is free but donations are accepted to help support the village, which is a registered charity.  A collection area will also be set up for non-perishable food items for our local food banks.

Where: Annual Halloween Haunt at the DRPS Kids’ Safety Village, 1129 Athol Street, Whitby

When: Thursday, October 27, Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
