The Town of Ajax yesterday announced its intent to consider passage of a by-law to name a private road.
The private road will accommodate a residential development proposal on the lands at 520 Rossland Road West.
The development proposal consists of six single detached dwellings on a private condominium lane. A site plan of the development proposal, illustrating the proposed private lane, is included below for reference. The private lane is proposed to be named Tidmarsh Lane in accordance with the town’s Street Name Reserve Listing, said a statement.
Pursuant to Section 48 of the Municipal Act, a local municipality may name or change the name of a private road after giving public notice of its intention to pass the by-law.
The by-law will be considered by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Ajax at a meeting to be held electronically on November 8, 2022 at 9:30 am. The meeting will be available for public viewing at ajax.ca/live.
