Arrest of three in stolen vehicle leads to guns, drugs

Durham Police said three male suspects are facing numerous charges after officers seized three firearms and a quantity of drugs.

On Saturday, December 3, members from the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit concluded an investigation, which resulted in three suspects being arrested. The suspects were arrested in a stolen vehicle in the area of Lankaster Lane and Janes Lane, Ajax, where police seized two loaded firearms.

As part of the investigation, members of the Gun and Gang Unit executed a search warrant of a vehicle and storage locker associated to one of the suspects. Investigators seized a firearm, ammunition, cocaine and fentanyl, said a police statement.

One suspect each from Pickering, Ajax and Toronto were held for bail hearings.
