Whitby Stabbing Suspect: Do you know this man?

Durham Police investigators are releasing photographs of a male suspect from a stabbing incident Friday morning.

Investigators need assistance from the public in identifying a male suspect after a stabbing on December 2 at about 6:30 am.

Members of Central West Division responded to a stabbing incident near Dunlop Street East and Brock Street South. Officers located a 51-year-old male with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center. The suspect fled eastbound from Dunlop Street. Investigators are still looking into the motive for this incident.

The suspect is described as a short male with a small build. He wore all black clothing.

Investigators have attached surveillance photographs of the male suspect. Anyone with new information about this investigation is asked to contact Det. Ormonde of Central West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1827.
