Friday’s stab victim suffers life-threatening injuries

Durham Police investigators are looking for a suspect after a stabbing early Friday morning in Whitby.

On December 2 at about 6:30 am, members of Central West Division responded to a stabbing incident near Dunlop Street East and Brock Street South.

Officers located a 51-year-old male with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre. The suspect fled eastbound from Dunlop Street, said a police statement.

The suspect is described as a short male with a small build. He wore all black clothing.
