Scugog has announced that the Blackstock Arena will remain closed for the 2021-2022 season.
At the last regular meeting of the Planning and Community Affairs Committee held on Monday October 18, council approved the recommendation from staff for the Blackstock Arena to remain closed for the 2021/2022 season due to a lack of demand for ice, said a township statement.
Council expressed how difficult this decision was to make and how it was unfortunate that the arena would remain closed for another season.
