Careless driver arrested for operating vehicle while prohibited

Following two nights of capturing the Northern Lights, Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) North Divison officers were active in Port Bolster area of Brock yesterday.

While on duty they found a commercial vehicle driver being careless and speeding.

Arrested for operating a vehicle while prohibited, said the North Division.

The driver was charged with speeding, stunt driving, careless driving, and driving while suspended.

The commercial motor vehicle was towed and impounded for 45 days (top image), police said.

North Division officers also charged an unlicenced driver for speeding 78 kmh in a posted 50-zone, and having an insecure load.
