As forecast, there was another spectacular display of Northen Lights (Aurora Borealis) over Durham late Monday night and early yesterday morning.
It was the second night in a row that the awesome heavenly display lit up the night sky over the region.
Late Sunday and early Monday, the lights were first seen and captured on camera (see below) by officers of the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).
Solar flares have been reported, which are believed to cause the Northern Lights to appear so far south.
Yesterday, again DRPS North Division said its night shift officers captured the above display.
The DRPS North Division covers the townships of Brock, Uxbridge and Scugog.
