The Regional Municipality of Durham will conduct maintenance at Chalk Lake Springs throughout October and into November. Some of these maintenance activities require a full closure of the site to the public for safety reasons.
When: Site closures will take place on October 4 to 8, and again from October 26 to November 12. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Chalk Lake Springs on Lake Ridge Road in Port Perry. The springs will be unavailable during the closures.
Why: The closures will be in place for public safety during construction activities.
Note: The region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
