A predator who was operating on Snapchat and Reddit is facing several charges from Durham police.
The man is facing charges following a child luring and child sexual abuse and exploitation material investigation in Whitby.
In late 2025, investigators with the Internet Child Exploitation Unit began an investigation into a man alleged to have lured a girl between 12- and 13-year-old through Reddit and Snapchat into sending sexual abuse and exploitation materials. The suspect operated under the usernames DeliveryNormal7189 on Reddit and manu041.01 on Snapchat.
In 2026, investigators with the Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence in Whitby. Several electronic devices were located and seized. The suspect was located in the residence and taken into custody without incident.

The suspect is an employee at Durham College, and police have concerns there may be further victims. Name and photo of the accused are available at www.drps.ca.
