Clarington is inviting residents to celebrate the opening of Middle Park, a new neighbourhood-sized park in Bowmanville, on Saturday, June 14 from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
The park, located at 3301 Middle Road, features a softball diamond, playground, paved walkways, benches, a shade structure—and a splash pad that will be turned on for the first time during the event, with the official “reveal” expected around noon.
The opening will include free family-friendly activities such as face painting, games, freezies, and prize giveaways.
Residents from the surrounding neighbourhood are encouraged to walk to the event as parking is limited.
