Condominium development proposed for Uxbridge

The Region of Durham has received an application  for a proposed Draft Plan of Vacant Land Condominium, submitted by Mosaik (Uxbridge) Inc.

The region is the approval authority for the draft plan of vacant land condominium. The application has been deemed complete in accordance with the requirements of Section 51 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, said a township statement.

The application for development of the subject lands includes 23 single detached dwellings, as well as the relocation of the existing heritage house on the site, for a total of 24 residential units, along with a condominium road to access the dwellings and seven visitor parking spaces.

The subject lands have a total area of 1.5 hectares (3.7 acres) and are located on the south side of Mill Street between Joseph Street and Water Street in the Uxbridge Urban Area.  The property is generally described as Part Lot 29, Concession 6, Township of Uxbridge.  The municipal address is 62 Mill Street. The location of the property is graphically illustrated on the key map below.

A public meeting is being held both electronically and in person. The livestream for public viewing will be available at https://calendar.uxbridge.ca.  The meeting will be held on August 8 at 7:30 pm at the Uxbridge Town Hall Council Chambers; 51 Toronto St S., Uxbridge.
