Following the somewhat disapointing results of the Festive Ride during December in which 105 impaired drivers were taken off the roads (se below), January seems to be a sobering month.
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officers from North Division conducted Ride lines recently in Uxbridge and Port Perry.
“We are happy to report that out of the 90 vehicles stopped, there were no impaired driving charges,” police said.
However, one driver received a roadside suspension, police said bud did not clarify further.
“Always plan for a sober ride home,” police added.
