PSD Brock – bane of hundreds of offenders – passes away

The Durham Regional Police Service’s (DRPS) K9 Unit has announced the passing of retired Police Service Dog (psd) Brock, who died this past week at the age of 13 with his family by his side.

PSD Brock was trained in general patrol and served the citizens of Durham Region for over eight years under the handling of Sgt. Jason Dickson.

During his career, PSD Brock was responsible for locating hundreds of individuals, including wanted offenders and missing vulnerable people, police said.

DRPS said PSD Brock will be missed by Sgt. Jason Dickson, his family, and the DRPS K9 Unit.

“Thank you for your service, PSD Brock.”
