Driver issued ticket – caught speeding again 18 minutes later

Durham Police said a driver has been charged with speeding twice in just 18 minutes.

The motorist was pulled over by two separate officers of the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) in Pickering and in Scugog on January 16.

The first incident occurred in Pickering, where the driver was caught exceeding the speed limit.

The driver was again caught speeding in Scugog, 18 minutes after the initial violation.

Both traffic stops were made by two different DRPS officers, who issued speeding charges for the violations, police said.
