Cordova Valley Park off-leash area opens Tuesday

The off-leash area at Cordova Valley Park in Oshawa will be officially inaugurated on Tuesday April 25, according to the city.

The city’s newest dog park is specifically designed to provide off-leash opportunities for pet owners and their dogs to enjoy natural areas.

Features include accessible parking, shade and seating, gates and fencing. The project also included accessible parking spaces, a connecting pathway and naturalized areas.

The opening is expected to be attended by members of Oshawa City Council as well as neighbhourhood residents, dog owners and members of the Oshawa Animal Care Advisory Committee.
