Crews reunited this dog with its family after Christmas Day fire

Durham Region Responses posted a brief feel-good story about a dog being reunited with its family after a Christmas Day fire.

“Fire crews reunited this dog with its family yesterday afternoon [25 December] in Ajax, at a house fire call at Oak Street and Harwood Avenue,” said the post.

“Good stop by crews, quickly knocking down a Christmas day fire,” it added.

No further details were provided.

Meanwhile, Ajax Fire and Emergency Services, wished all a Merry Christmas and put out a special thanks to all the first responders – DRPS, Durham Paramedic and Ajax Fire – that were on shift on Christmas Day. “Thank you for keeping our community safe. Stay safe everyone!”
