Lakeview Park is one of Oshawa’s great destinations, according to the city. The park has several large designated picnic areas, a new playground and splash pad, trails, sport fields, and is home to the Oshawa Museum. Hot food, ice cream and beverages are available for purchase at the Jubilee Pavilion concession.
To protect the park and ensure the safety of visitors, when planning to visit Oshawa’s Lakeview Park, visotrs are asked to be mindful of the City of Oshawa’s rules of use:
- Personal cooking devices including barbecues (propane, charcoal) are prohibited anywhere in the park.
- Park users are encouraged to bring prepared food to their events and picnics.
- Camp fires, cooking fires and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Park users are not allowed to discharge consumer (family) fireworks on any day in a city park.
- Open-sided shade structures up to 12’x12’ are permitted; enclosed tents are not permitted at Lakeview Park.

- The Jubilee Pavilion has sole concession rights at Lakeview Park. No outside catering/corporate food services are allowed at this location.
- Pets must be leashed and are not allowed on any public beach.
- Swim only in supervised swim areas while lifeguards are on duty (weather permitting). Visitors are reminded to check the region’s posted beach closures at www.durham.ca/beaches prior to their visit.
