Don’t Miss The Beat: Pickering’s Big Band event coming soon

The City of Pickering is inviting community members to enjoy an afternoon of live music, dancing, and good company at the upcoming Big Band event, taking place on Sunday, June 8, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex.

The event will feature live entertainment from the George Lake Big Band, promising an upbeat atmosphere filled with classic tunes and a chance to hit the dance floor. Whether you prefer to sit back and enjoy the music or get moving, the event aims to bring together residents for an afternoon of lively community spirit.

Light refreshments will be available for attendees, adding to the overall experience.

Tickets are $7.40 and must be purchased in advance, as they will not be available at the door. Sales began on May 5, and are available at the following locations:

  • Eastshore Community Centre
  • George Ashe Library Community Centre
  • Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex

Tickets are available while supplies last. Payments can be made by credit or debit at all locations, and by cash at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex only.

The City of Pickering encourages residents not to miss out on this musical afternoon and to secure their tickets early.
