Don’t miss tonight’s meet on new Rosebank project

Centreville Homes (Pickering) Inc. have applied to build detached homes on Toynevale Road in Pickering. This requires both Official Plan and Zoning Plan amendments.

Residents and stakeholders have been invited by the City of Pickering to virtually have their say on the development tonight at 7:00 pm.

Residents can participate via connection into the meeting, or watch the meeting live streamed via the City of Pickering’s YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/SustainablePickering

The applicant is proposing to construct 14 lots for detached dwellings fronting a new public road extending south from Toynevale Road terminating in a cul-de-sac.

The purpose of the Official Plan Amendment is to increase the maximum permitted density within the Rosebank Neighbourhood policies from 17 units per net hectare to 19.8 units per net hectare.

The purpose of the zoning by-law amendment is to request site-specific exceptions to the existing R4 zoning requirements to reduce the minimum lot area, lot frontage, front yard setback, and side yards, and to increase the
maximum lot coverage.

The property is located at 313 Toynevale Road, on the south side of Toynevale Road, west of Lytton Court and east of Winette Road.
