Driver arrested for causing serious injuries to passenger

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said officers from its North Division arrested a 51-year-old male from Bradford after a single vehicle collision in Brock.

The passenger was taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

On Monday, April 22 at about 5:30 pm, officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Regional Road 23 and Thorah Concession Road 1 in Brock Township.

The vehicle was located in a ditch with two occupants inside.

The passenger was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver was arrested for impaired driving.

The 51-year old male from Bradford was charged with impaired operation of a conveyance, cause bodily harm, and operation while impaired – exceed blood alcohol concentration.
