This pickup driver is a repeat ‘insecure load’ offender

There have been several cases of items falling off moving vehicles, including a large container which fell onto Highway 401 some time ago (see story below).

But more recently, scrap metal fell off a pickup (image above) prompting a fine of $160 for insecure load.

The incident happened yesterday at Wilson and Taunton in Oshawa, said officers from the East Division of Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).

Insecure load for scrap metal falling off the truck, said a police alert adding that the driver had been previously charged for the same violation – insecure load.

The fine this time was $160.
