DRPS’ D/Cst. Andrew Peden was honoured with the 2019 Dave Wilson Award from ProAction Cops & Kids.
Thanks to D/Cst. Peden’s tireless work, the Youth Development Through Sport program has led to local community members being more engaged in their community and has allowed officers to build relationships with youth in the communities they serve, said a DRPS statement.
ProAction says its programs would not be possible without police officers and it is an honour to recognize and celebrate these generous, dedicated and passionate officers from the ProAction Cops & Kids Chapters.
