Durham police arrest Markham drug suspect in Toronto

A male suspect is facing drug charges following the execution of search warrant in Markham on Sunday, according to Durham Police.

On Sunday, March 20, members from the Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a 36-year-old male suspect in Toronto and police executed a search warrant at his residence in Markham. Police seized 4 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of approximately $400,000, over $29,000 in Canadian currency and a loaded Glock handgun with ammunition.

The suspect is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) and seven Firearms-related charges.
