Man threatens another with BB gun at motel

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said a male suspect has been charged after he pulled a ‘realistic-looking’ BB gun on another man.

Police from DRPS Central West Division responded to a weapons call on Sunday after the suspect – who was at a Whitby motel on Champlain Avenue – pulled a gun on a citizen. Police investigated and seized this realistic looking bb-gun.

Officers arrested the accused without incident.

A 38-year old male of no fixed address is charged with possession of weapons dangerous to public peace, pointing a firearm, careless use of a firearm, breach of probation x3, and break and enter from a previous incident.
