Residents helped solve 44 crimes in 2020

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) has acknowledged the vital cooperation of residents in helping solve cases.

It pointed out that in 2020 Durham Crimestoppers cleared 44 cases from public tips.

It urged the public to continue to provide it with information.

“January is #crimestoppers month. Help us solve crimes in your community,” said a DRPS tweet.
