Durham roundabouts are not a racing oval: police

DRPS North Division officers clocked a driver speeding at 80kmh in a 50kmh zone while approaching a roundabout in Uxbridge.

It is too fast. It’s not a racing oval. Please slow down, yield to pedestrians and cyclists and obey the speed limit, said a police tweet.

Meanwhile, DRPS Traffic Services monitoring safety on Baldwin and Robmar Street in the Town of Whitby witnessed a speeding driver.

This motor vehicle (below) was stopped doing 105/60 kmh zone. Appropriate charges were laid.
