On August 21, at 7:15 pm, members of Central West Division responded to a motor-vehicle collision involving an e-bike and vehicle in Whitby.
An e-bike was travelling on the sidewalk and collided with the vehicle as it was turning into a driveway on Thickson Rd N.
A 16-year-old male riding the e-bike suffered serious injuries and was transferred to a trauma centre where he remains in stable condition.
The driver of the other vehicle did not suffer any injuries and remained on the scene.
