Police recover stolen car during traffic stop

On August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am, officers from Central West Division / Central East Division responded to a call for an impaired driver at Stevenson and Bloor in Oshawa. The vehicle was observed to be driving erratically.
Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Adelaide and Arena. Further investigation revealed the vehicle was also stolen. The female driver was exhibiting obvious signs of impairment.
A 24-year-old female from Mississauga has been charged with: Impaired Operation, Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 and Possessing an Illicit Substance.
