Elexicon issues fraud alert to customers

Elexicon Energy has warned customers to be careful of fraudsters trying to obtain money from them.

“Fraud Alert: Be aware of scammers who contact you pretending to be from Elexicon Energy,” said a utility company tweet.

“We would never arrange for an email transfer payment from customers. If this happens to you, contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre to report it,” it advised.

Earlier, Oshawa Power too was used as a means to defraud its customers (see below).
