Four stab youth for headphones at a plaza in Pickering

Durham Police yesterday said a youth was stabbed during an armed robbery in Pickering a few days ago.

On Monday, November 13 at about 11:50 am, members of West Division responded to an armed person call at a plaza in the area of Kingston Road and Whites Road in Pickering. The victim planned to meet another male to sell a pair of headphones.

Once at the agreed upon location, the victim was surrounded by four males who attempted to rob him at knife-point. The victim suffered a stab wound to the hand before all suspects fled the area. Police arrived on scene and provided the victim with medical assistance. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, said a police statement.

The first suspect is described as male, White, 5’9”, with a slim build, and black short hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as male, Brown, 5’9”, with a slim build. He was wearing a black ski mask, and a black, blue and grey sweater.

The third suspect is described as male, White, 5’5”, with a slim build. He was wearing a black sweater, and dark jeans.

The fourth suspect is described as male, 5’5”, with a medium build. He was wearing a covid mask, a black sweater, and skinny jeans.
