Fitness Centre renovations kick-off today

The municipality said the Courtice Community Complex Fitness Centre is getting a refresh.

Construction kicks off today Thursday, June 20, and will continue until October 1 as crews remove the existing office and relocate the reception desk to create more floor space for additional equipment coming this fall.

While there may be some additional noise and dust during this time, the fitness area, change rooms and group fitness centre will remain open and accessible, it said.

“We apologize for any inconvenience (but promise it’ll be worth it!),” the municipality said.
