Ground broken for Whitby’s newest 347-unit condo

Whitby Mayor Don Mitchell yesterday attended the ground breaking ceremony for the town’s newest 347-unit condominium community called The Landing.

This project is located on Charles Street in the Heart of Whitby Harbour.

“Looking forward to welcoming current and new residents to the town,” said the mayor in a tweet.

The landing condominium residences start from the mid $400s, says a statement on the company’s website. However, it adds that: “Pricing, specifications and information subject to change without notice.”

It said The Landing offers beautifully scaled condominium residences located by the lake and just a three-minute stroll to the GO station, waterfront trails, shops and more.

The project is developed by Carttera, which says it has successfully developed projects extending to over $3.3 billion in total value.
