Gunman demands cigarettes, robs cash at Circle K in Oshawa

Durham police are looking for a suspect after an early morning robbery at a convenience store in Oshawa.

Officers reported that they responded to a report of a robbery around 4:45 am on Sunday, April 6, at the Circle K located at 285 Park Road South.

According to police, a man entered the store carrying a firearm and demanded the employee open the cash register and fill a gym bag with cigarettes. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the scene before officers arrived. No injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspect as a white male.
