Handgun pointed in road rage on Highway 401

It must have been scary for a road rage victim to be staring down the barrel of a gun, for that’s exactly what happened on Highway 401.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said a suspect from Durham has been charged.

“What would you think if someone pointed this at you?” asked OPP Highway Safety Division referring to the weapon pictured below.

It said a 39-year old man from Durham is charged with pointing a firearm, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, flight from police and dangerous driving.

“This as a result of a road rage complaint on Hwy 401,” it added.

No further details were provided.
