Impact of the crash ejects driver from his vehicle

Durham Police said a 54-year-old male driver suffered serious injuries after being ejected from his vehicle in a collision in Oshawa Monday morning.

On June 13, 2022, at about 6 am, members of Central East Division were called to two vehicle collision at Stevenson Road North and King Street West. A 54-year-old male driver was ejected from his vehicle as a result of the collision. He was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center where he remains in serious but stable condition. The second involved driver received only minor injuries and remained on scene and co-operated with investigating officers, said a police statement.

Members of the DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The area of the roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected, it added.
