Hells Angels ride into Durham, region ready

Hundreds of members of Hells Angels Motor Cycle Club yesterday rode into Durham under the watchful eyes of Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officers.

Durham Region is ready for the hundreds of bikers and has put into place route plans as the bikers are expected to ride out by tomorrow, July 24.

Yesterday, DRPS Traffic Services closed off Baldwin Street between Columbus Road and Duffs Road for the weekend.

It asked road users to utilize an alternative route as police operation was in progress in the Town of Whitby.

Due to a large-scale event involving the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club this weekend, Highway 12/Baldwin Street north of Columbus will be closed from Friday, July 22 from 4am to Sunday, July 24
till 9pm. Only local traffic can access. Detour signs will be posted (See map below), said an earlier DRPS statement.

Township of Brock also saw portions of Highway 12 closed due to the Hells Angels Motor Cycle Club passing through for their HAMC Canada Run.
