Rolling road closures on Saturday in Oshawa

Oshawa has announced rolling road closures on Saturday July 23, beginning at Centre Street and Athol Street.

The closures would begin from 8:15 am until 9:15 am.

They are being effected to facilitate Durham Quarter Marathon race which starts at 8:30 am.

Centre Street – From King St W to Bagot St – Two west lane closure 7:30 am to 8:15 am
Centre Street – From King St W to Gibb St – Full closure 8:15 am to 8:45 am
West Lane Closure – 8:30 a.m . to 9 a.m . – Centre Street from Gibb Street to Fairbanks Street
West Lane Closure – 8:30 a.m . to 9:15 a.m . – Simcoe Street from Avenue Street to Mill Street

Bloor Street

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure in the westbound lanes and lane restrictions in the eastbound lanes of Bloor Street (Regional Road 22) in Oshawa.

  • When: July 22 to July 24. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
  • Where: Bloor Street, from Ritson Road to Albert Street, in Oshawa.
  • Why: To safely install a new connection to an existing watermain.
