Help find distraction theft suspects who stole pin number

Durham Police are asking the public to help locate suspects involved in distraction theft and fraud.

On May 5, the elderly victim was shopping at the Walmart on Laval Drive in Oshawa, when the suspects followed her and captured her pin number while she made a purchase. The three suspects then distracted the victim in the parking lot and stole her purse and later used the bank card at various locations, said a police statement.

The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect #1 – older male, in his 50-60’s, tanned complexion, grey hair, glasses, dark full suit, light blue shirt, black dress shoes.
  • Suspect #2 – female, White, long brown hair, 35-45 years of age, white/red/blue jacket, camo pants.
  • Suspect #3 – male, White, short brown hair, facial hair, 30-40 years of age, black hoodie and pants.
