Housing developer asks to expand Lambs Road project

An online public meeting will be held on proposed changes to the Draft Subdivision Plan for a housing development in Bowmanville.

The housing project is located at 1700 Lambs Road, on the southwest corner of Concession Street and Lambs Road.

The meeting will take place on Monday, March 28, at 6:30 pm. Stakeholders and residents can pre-register online at www.clarington.net/delegations or contact the Clerk’s Division at 905-623-3379 ext. 2109 or clerks@clarington.net by Friday, March 25 at 3:30 pm, said a municipal statement.

Farsight Investments is seeking a red line amendment to the draft approved plan of subdivision to increase the number of residential lots by six, including four additional single detached dwellings and two additional townhouse dwellings.

The proposed other units are in the southwest area of the plan. The red line revisions also include widening of Streets D and E. A zoning by-law amendment is required to accommodate the red line revisions requested.

In August 2010, Farsight Investments Limited had received draft approval for a plan of subdivision at 1700 Lambs Road.
